INTRODUCTION TO THE COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE, AND THE STATE OF TEXAS DRIVERS LICENSE, REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.

In addition to a general student orientation, the objectives of this course are to prepare the student to successfully complete the written examinations required to obtain a Texas Class A Learners Permit and commercial Drivers License, as needed to operate a semi-tractor/trailer unit. In addition to the basic Commercial/Drivers License (CDL), students will also be prepared to pass the written examinations for the Combination Vehicles, Air Brakes, and Hazardous Materials endorsements. The course will be presented as follows:
